Polisan Holding A.Ş. was established in 2000 to bring its companies operating across different industries together under a single corporate structure. The Holding provides strategic guidance and group-wide coordination across its subsidiaries in areas such as finance, legal affairs, human resources, marketing and information technologies.
The industrial foundations of Polisan were laid through the initiatives of the Bitlis Family. In 1964, Polivinyl Acetate Chemical Materials Industry Inc. was established under the leadership of Necmettin Bitlis. The company was renamed Polisan Kimya in 1967. Today, Polisan Kimya is one of the Holding’s core businesses, with deep expertise in resin- and formaldehyde-based products.
Following the relocation of Polisan Kimya’s operations to Dilovası, Poliport was established in 1971 to meet the need for port infrastructure in the region. Operating in the Gulf of Kocaeli, Poliport provides dry bulk and liquid cargo storage, handling and port services.
Building on its experience in chemicals and port operations, Polisan Holding subsequently expanded into construction chemicals. Today, the Holding operates through Polisan Kimya, Poliport and Polisan Yapıkim. Together, these businesses combine decades of industrial know-how and operational capability across the Holding’s core areas of activity.
Polisan Kansai Paint was part of the Group for many years. In 2025, as part of the corporate restructuring, the paint operations were separated from Polisan Holding through a partial demerger.
Listed on Borsa İstanbul under the ticker symbol “POLHO” since 2012, Polisan Holding focuses on long-term value creation through sound corporate governance, sustainability, occupational health and safety, and environmental responsibility.
As of 2026, CoreX Ports, a subsidiary of CoreX Holding, is the majority shareholder of Polisan Holding. The Holding continues to operate in its core business areas, drawing on decades of industrial experience and sector expertise.
